Life’s tough right now… really hard.
It’s a good thing that humans are BUILT to do hard things.
YES – You can do hard things!
Take a moment – sit up taller – and find your breath. There is capacity within you.
Sometimes things need to get worse before they can get better. Check out this video to learn more…

It’s natural, normal and easy to collapse into despair, hopelessness, and helplessness during challenging times. There is nothing wrong with you, if that’s what your brain and body decide to do… other than staying stuck down there totally sucks as a life experience.
We humans are wired for connection, cooperation, and community. We weren’t wired to do stress and pain alone. So, if things are hard for you right now, take a moment to follow my lead.
It’s different from the daily norm, but it will make you feel better… so go ahead, no one and nothing is stopping you but you.
Put both your hands up in the air. Allow your hands to rise up and lift your trunk up taller. Let some breath come into your lungs. Hold your arms up for ten seconds, and notice what happens in your body. Smile to yourself, and say these words:
“I can do hard things.”
You’ve got this.
And I’ve got your back – reach out if you need support. Asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do.
And you can do hard things!
I just did – I’m literally sitting in a busy Starbucks surrounded by people as I edit this newsletter, and decided I didn’t care what they thought. I raised my hands in the air and smiled, and told myself ‘I can do hard things’. And you know what? I feel better.
Try it… you will too.
